Saturday & Sunday, March 5 & 6, 2011
9:00 am until 5:00 pm

Harper College Sports Center, Building M
Algonquin & Roselle Roads, Palatine, IL

 

Do Not Miss

Fun for all members of the family. Twenty-two operating train layout exhibits featuring models from some of the best hobbyists in the Midwest.  All model scales will be running - from the tiniest "Z-scale" up to the popular garden sized "G-scale" - and every one in between.

Artists will be on site demonstrating modeling skills & techniques and are available to answer all your hobby questions.

Realistic prototype railroad operations will be explained and run on the Northwest Trainmasters layout on both Saturday and Sunday.

Thomas and his Friends will be at the show.

Kids are free - when an adult registers for a Kids Free Pass.   Click for a coupon

Two Train Set Give-a-Way drawings will be held each day of the show. Be sure to enter the drawings. (Sorry Mom & Dad, Kids only!)

Door prize drawings are held frequently through out the day. Entry is included with your admission ticket.

Vendors from local shops will have thousands of hobby items for sale.

Historical, technical & museum society representatives are there to discuss the legacy of  the railroads that defined the Chicago area transportation network making the Midwest what it is today.

Free parking.

Lunch and snack bar on site.
